  • Thanks for the terrific pictures! It's always amazing to me how much we as a nation are fascinated by our imagined Middle East, and yet have such a woeful lack of knowledge about the real Middle East. I only wish Cleopatra and Aladdin could provoke a bit more curiosity about the real people who live in Alexandria and Baghdad now!
