No, it's not nap time at the Rose Bowl. It may look like the spirit's not willing, but these high-schoolers on the IM Field are just waiting for their chance to perform at cheerleading camp, UCLA style. Every summer, the campus plays host to 12 cheerleading camps, totaling about 4,000 cheerleaders from all over Southern California. They practice their flips and their splits and dream of victory. Perhaps they even imagine themselves on some future field of glory after they graduate, wearing the blue and gold and cheering on their Bruins.
