"I was incredibly moved by the article featuring Lt. Mark Daily ['Saving Grace,' January 2008] and his noble reasons for fighting in Iraq . . . What a shame this country has lost someone of such high character."
Mannequins march on Westwood! Well, OK, they're sitting, not marching. Slouching, really. Filling the seats in Royce Hall to simulate symphony lovers listening to a concert. What you're really looking at is a plastic fantastic film shoot on campus for Lionsgate Films' "The Eye," a psychological thriller hitting theaters in October. The movie's a remake of the Hong Kong film "Jian gui," about a woman who can see into the supernatural after an eye transplant. It stars Jessica Alba, so nobody is going to be looking at anything else in the scene, anyway.
